exchange uden- sobreda 2013

This is the blog of the exchange with the Udens College (Uden) and Escola Daniel Sampaio (Sobreda). This year we started in september with the preparations with our collegues Lurdes Jesus and Fernanda Vaz Serra. The exchange will take place in Sobreda (7 tot 13 november 2012) and in Uden (28th january till the 4th february 2013). Our main goal is to contribute to European ideas by organizing effective contacts between Dutch and Portuguese students. The best way to experience life in other European Countries is a short time to live each other's lives and share common experiences with families, friends and classmates. Our 15 and 16 year old students (Havo 4) enrolled voluntarily for this additional program, in addition to their regular school activities. For the first time in the twenty years of exchange experience on the Udens College we build the program for this exchange with the idea that it should benefit the regular curriculum. Besides great climat, views, landscapes, sun and beaches our students have to work on integrated assignments for mathematics / economics, english and cultural education, with and without their Portugese partners. except that, our students work on a personal report in English about their experiences in three different categories: macro (politics, economics, geography), meso (school and education, experiences with the group) and micro (family life and family, partner ). they should publish this on a personal blog. and thats teachers talk, in reality 21 students were anxious to meet there Portugese partners and families, nervous and curious about live in Portugal.
